Dear Phoebe,

On behalf of my senior commanders, officers & men, I would like to thank Mum's Kitchen, especially yourself, Darren, Benny & his crew for the excellent service you all have provided from the quotation of the menu before the event to the setting & clearing up after the event.

The delicious dishes were a talking point of the guests who were thoroughly impressed with the quality of the dinner spread and had remarked that it was one of the better dinner buffets they have had.

I am sure I speak on behalf of my commanders, officers & men that you all have played a critical role of making the event a resounding success. I thank you again as we look forward to more events that we can work together again. Thank you & Shalom!

Hi Darren,

This is Mrs Joyce Lim from xxxxxx. I catered from your co. on 27 Feb 05.

I just wanted to thank you for accomodating on the changes I have on the menu and my request of the dish labels. I am very glad that you remembered. Your staff did a wonderful job in displaying the dishes - with the flowers, table cloth and labels. I was very impressed. Furthermore, I got good feedback on the food from my guests too, they particularly loved the laksa. I don't take hot spicy food so I had to rely on my guests for feedback. Overall, I was satisfied with the standard of the food, only complaint was the Tempura fish was already cold when it arrived.

One suggestion is that maybe you can consider providing both big and small bowls for the laksa. My guests began to eat more when I took out my own big bowls for them to eat the laksa, as it is more "shiok" to eat from a bigger bowl. For big eaters, the small bowls are inconvenient as after one or two mouthfuls, they have to go back to get more. Some of them had to go back three or four times to take the laksa, that was what prompted me to take out my big bowls.

Anyway, thanks again and I will definitely keep your co. in mind when I have my next party.

Regards,

Mrs. Joyce Lim
